Teresa LaDuke
Teresa LaDuke is an Anishinaabe artist who is a painter and muralist. Her artistry also includes traditional arts such as black velvet beadwork, birchbark basketry and regalia. Teresa was taught by her maternal grandmother since she was 15 years old and passes on her knowledge to younger generations and grandchildren. Teresa’s work is inspired by dreams, memories of her world and heritage. She lives in Northern Minnesota.
